This week I traveled to Savannah Ga, one of my favorite cities. In addition to the restaurants I already know and love, I was introduced to Eos this week, located at 1801 Habersham Street. The restaurant is in an old bank building, and is quaint in that regard. The food was delish, most everyone at our table ordered the fillet and mashed potatoes, accompanied by perfectly cooked asparagus.
I did miss the background music, (silence is not always golden) and there was a wine tasting going on at the same time as our dinner, so there was a lot of instruction from the server/sommelier to the group during our meal.
I would put this one on my list for a weeknight dinner, the food is divine but the atmosphere and attitude is a lacking just a little.
Additionally, I had lunch at one of my all time favorites today, Gryphon Tea Room (337 Bull Street). The turkey sandwich with avocado, cream cheese, walnuts and cranberry was out of this world! In case I haven't mentioned it before, Gryphon was designed and is operated by the Savannah College of Art and Design, and the building is an old pharmacy/soda fountain. Love the orange chairs!
Also, I was able to check out a new consignment shop on Broughton Street called Cherry Pick. It is at the intersection of Montgomery and Broughton, across from Marc Jacobs. I bought a skirt and 3 tops for $48. What a great selection! Designers that I found there include lots of Trina Turk, some Dianne Von Furstenburg, Nanette Lepore, and designer label shoes. You should definitely check this out.
That's all for now my friends, check again next week for new info!

Hello Friends,
As a contract textile rep, I have the distinct privilege of dining and shopping (shh, I did I mention that?) in some of the most fabulous places in the South. My territory includes South Carolina, Augusta and Savannah Ga, and Jacksonville/St Augustine Fl.
Since some of you have asked me for recommendations on dining, shopping and fun things to do in various cities, I thought it would be great to consolidate and update my ruminations on a blog. Those of you that know me best know that I am not the most technologically fascinated person (my continued resistance to facebook perplexes many) so this is a giant step forward for me!
It is my ambition to add to this blog on a continual basis, so please check back as often as you would like, and especially when you are planning a trip to one of the above mentioned places.
Here's to you and your fabulousness! Thanks for your support and interest.
